Certificate in Plant Operations (Construction)

Course Information

This is a competence-based qualification, candidates will be assessed on their knowledge and skills through on-the-job observations and witness testimonies.

This qualification has a range of pathways and is linked to typical job roles that candidates encounter within the industry.

Candidates can gain this qualification on various specialist plant machines e.g. lorry loader, telehandler, forward tipping dumper, dumptruck, sweeper, ride-on-roller.

Pre-requisites

1. Candidates must hold a red CPCS card for the appropriate machine

Objectives -

To demonstrate a thorough understanding of the relevant operational and safety requirements; to achieve the relevant NVQ in order to convert to a Blue CPCS Competent Operator Card.
